I'm Holly and this is my website.
What's the purpose of this ? Well, i just wanted a place to share some of my projects and my hobbies. Kind of like mixing business with pleasure. Should be easy right ?
First things first, hobbies. Everybody needs one or needs to get one right ? Someone wise once said that hobbies are one of the most important things that differentiate us from robots and he was right. Wish i could remember who said it though ....
Anyway, my hobbies: IT, gadgets, sports (mainly football and tennis), exercise, comics, movies, music (mainly hip hop). Phew, these are just some of them (the most important). Never would have thought i have so many.
Work? you ask. Of course i have a job, a pretty cool one at that. I work in IT at one of the biggest players in its field (Hint: E///). Like i said, it's a pretty cool job (I'm now involved in an IPTV project) but unfortunately, the pay is not that great. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but not great either.
And this brings me to ... my ex personal projects, "work at home" kind of projects if you like. For just over two years (and until a few months ago when i resigned from all my positions) I've been contributing (editor) to some news-centered blogs - MyLifeScoop and GForGames being some of them. It used to be mostly all about games, but as my passion drifted towards smartphones and tablets, i started covering these instead of games (with a few notable exceptions). Learned a lot of things thanks to these projects, like how to manage a group of people who don't know each other, how to keep them motivated, the best way(s) to make them realize what they're doing wrong, help them improve some of their "lacking" departments and more. Let me tell you, it's a lot of work but more often than not it pays off.
Ok, enough ranting for today. Tomorrow we'll talk about what to expect from 2013, especially when it comes to smartphones and tablets. See you soon!

Hi everyone,
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hope you had a great holiday season, i know i did :)
Ok, let's get back to topic: today i wanted to talk a bit about Motorola's Smart Actions software. Launched first on the Motorola Droid RAZR and the RAZR MAXX (and also available on the manufacturer's flagship - the Motorola Droid RAZR HD ), this app helps you save battery and i feel not many know about it and not all those who do take advantage of it. So without further ado, let's take a look at it.
Motorola Droid RAZR HD 101: Smart Actions = Extended Battery Life
With the arrival of LTE smartphones users have been faced with a new problem: battery life. But those of you that plan on purchasing a Motorola Droid RAZR have one less thing to worry about because of the implementation of Smart Actions which can be translated to extended battery life for your Motorola Droid RAZR (and many other Moto smartphones). Read more below.
How exactly does this Smart Actions application help with your Motorola Droid RAZR (MAXX, RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD) battery life ? By making the smartphone being self aware. Check out this Motorola Droid RAZR commercial to see what I mean.

So the Motorola Droid RAZR will get an extended battery life by remembering what daily habits you have, depending on the time of day, location or tasks that you do. Sounds good to me and I'm actually sold.
Though the Smart Actions app is by no means revolutionary, as others have done something similar, it will surely benefit the Motorola Droid RAZR. I mean, let's face it, 25% more battery life couldn't hurt anyone right ? I know I wouldn't mind.

In case you're curious about the smartphone depicted in this video, the Motorola Droid RAZR, let's talk a bit more about it (since the HD has been launched, you'll probably find some good deals for it)
The Motorola Droid RAZR specs are composed of a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display (540 x 960 resolution), a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card), an 8 Mp camera on the rear and a 1.3 Mp one on the front. Of special attention is the fact that the Motorola Droid RAZR is very THIN.
What do you guys think about the Smart Actions app? Would it be useful to see something similar done to all LTE smartphones ?
